Instructions for use

Place the sharpener on a flat surface, hold it with one hand and the knife handle with the other.

  1. Diamond coated disc - Coarse sharpening
  • Use before sharpening to smooth the edge of the knife if it is dull.
  • Slide the knife over the diamond blade by pressing lightly on the cutting edge.

2. Diamond coated blade - Medium sharpening

    • Use only if the knife is very dull.
    • Slide the knife over the diamond blade by pressing lightly on the cutting edge.
    • Repeat the operation until the blade regains its sharpness.

    3. Ceramic - Final polishing

    • Slide the knife across the ceramic disc without applying pressure to remove the burrs from step 2. Repeat the operation until the cutting edge settles.
    • To maintain the cutting edge, this step can be carried out without performing step 2.
    • Wash the knife after sharpening.

    Contraindications

    • Not suitable for knives with a serrated edge.
    • To avoid damaging the knife, sharpen lightly and without back and forth movements.
