Instructions for use
Place the sharpener on a flat surface, hold it with one hand and the knife handle with the other.
- Diamond coated disc - Coarse sharpening
- Use before sharpening to smooth the edge of the knife if it is dull.
- Slide the knife over the diamond blade by pressing lightly on the cutting edge.
2. Diamond coated blade - Medium sharpening
- Use only if the knife is very dull.
- Slide the knife over the diamond blade by pressing lightly on the cutting edge.
- Repeat the operation until the blade regains its sharpness.
3. Ceramic - Final polishing
- Slide the knife across the ceramic disc without applying pressure to remove the burrs from step 2. Repeat the operation until the cutting edge settles.
- To maintain the cutting edge, this step can be carried out without performing step 2.
- Wash the knife after sharpening.
Contraindications
- Not suitable for knives with a serrated edge.
- To avoid damaging the knife, sharpen lightly and without back and forth movements.
